The Center is engaged with the aerospace & defense industrial base, academic institutions and the Michigan National Guard to leverage Michigan’s military training facilities, academic resources and R&D in a coordinated approach to address the emerging DoD needs. The Arctic represents a unique environment in temperature extremes, ice, ground, and air.   The Center strategy is a unique resource base to support the rapid comprehensive response to the growing threats in the Arctic.
